Effect of weed management practices on chilli yield in chattogram hill districts of bangladesh

In Bangladesh during 2017-2018 was conducted in a farmer's field of the Chattogram hill districts to determine effectiveness different weed control strategies for transplanted chilli. The dry weight weeds, efficiency, index, and yield components like number fruits per plant, fruit length, weight, marketable yield, had been significantly affected by using measures. act treatment chilli fields, hand weeding+mulching also gave highest efficiency at harvest (89.19% Khagrachari, 89.82% Rangamati 90.02% Bandarban, respectively), plant (130.40 126.70 135.40 length (7.20 cm 7.00 7.10 (2.00g 2.10g 2.20g respectively) (11.58 t/ha 11.64 11.96 are highest, while index (3.90% 4.04% 2.68% is lowest weeding mulching compared with other treatments. Along these lines, production deemed be best eco-friendly effective strategy treatment.
